Mount Eerie Poster - Scala, London - Petting Zoo

Sorry Zach - I was illustrating my favourite part of the OG Mount Eerie soundtrack when Phil's outfit was called The Microphones... actually there is quite a continual "Big Black Cloud" theme throughout the recordings.

I think what was so cool about about the Scala show (aside from watching Phil personally work and make about a grand at his merch stall before going on stage - selling books of photos, poetry, drawings, lots of vinyl - one or two posters *-) was the fact that there were no rock n roll peacocks strutting about - everyone was bookish and sharing smiles llike they were all in a secret gang... I think these recordings are like soundtracks, things to make you tingle late at night in your headphones - not really stuff you take to play at a party - so I think an illustration of the story is quite valid personally.

That said, my work is considerably more figurative and less enigmatic than yours - certainly the Petting Zoo stuff... but I think thats ok for both of us ultimately

thanks for your comment Mr - always feel free to crit, I have the minimum micron depth epidermus and am not shy to occasionally air my own opinions as you know. I'll add that I've enjoyed various odd, exploratory and explosive styles and whatnot that you've done over the years I've been here.
