Woah, what the hell? This thread grew.
For the record, I agreed with Senor Crosshair, and expounded upon my criticism/opinion only after Mister Kaufman ASKED what was wrong with the type. Now yeah, he has every right to reject my crit, but I get a bit offended whenever I take the time to actually look at something and offer my thoughts on it, rather than pass it over just like the other cache of posters that are on this site with absolutely zero comments on them. Why spend my time commenting on this if I don't want to say it's "nxtlvlsht?" Probably because I find this poster very good in a number of ways, except for what I already mentioned. I found it worth my time.
Now as far as what Mister Perkins said, that's a fair enough point. I would hope, though, that input from the side of the people that the shows/posters are being advertised to is also valuable to designers. I could write a disclaimer on the bottom of my posts stating that i'm not a designer, but like, why? My opinion/crit. can be taken with either a grain of salt or with some weight. It's his choice. I just get a little peeved when he asks, I offer, he says "rubbish."
