  Thank you all for your kind words. I am truly honored.

inthefade has a good eye, and is correct; the type's perspective is a bit off on the extremities. I spent a couple hours trying to tweak this; but matching the distortion of the type exactly to that in the image, caused by an earlier lens correction, proved impossible to one of my modest Illustrator skills, and I decided I could live with it. Nevertheless, I learned a lot while trying, and I've got a pretty good idea how I will address this next time.

I'm very happy it was this one that got me a POTW, because I had more than the usual amount of fun working on this poster. As always I look forward to applying the lessons learned, and I welcome your comments and critiques.

I really enjoyed working on this poster; it contains experiments with a number of new (for me) techniques, some with happy unintended consequences.
