Grant could write great songs, but his voice was just too thin to compare in rotation next to Bob's.

Fun Fact: I saw Mould at Treasure Island last year and he tore through a bunch of Sugar tracks and I thought the bass player looked familiar. It was Barbe. A lil mini-Sugar reunion.

I shot some video of them tearing through "Makes No Sense at All" and "New Day Rising"

  BSOR was awesome.
Just layers and layers of crunch and murk.
One of the best examples of a record cover perfectly representing the music inside.

  Hobbs has taste.
First Shudder to Think, now Sugar.
I know it's sacrilege, but as much as I love Hüsker Dü, I always thought Sugar were the far better band.

Once Goad gets his Farmville sexting plugin setup for his site, you'll be able to talk about records all the time.

Ive recently gotten really into Pony Express Record and it's weird how it all grew on me.
There's so much going on that it's hard to digest it all.
Took like 6 listens for it to really gel for me.
