i think that is an interesting question you bring up dusty. in the realm of "legitimate". i agree and don't see much of a difference between a commissioned poster that never goes up and a non-commissioned poster that acutally gets used as promo. in fact, the latter is probably MORE legit as far as production for use is concerned.
but, as far as putting this up in the gig poster archives and based on the requirements set by clay/this site, it's not legit. which is too bad, because it's a nice poster and (ostensibly) was used for show promotion.
ok. i'll go first. the posters on this site are meant to be submitted as 'real" gigposters, not portfolio pieces or other things not used for actual shows, by actual bands, promoters or venues.
