adam you should check out copic markers...really smooth...less individual lines will show and also fw acrylic inks. these inks can be applied with a brush on bristol. it's still inexpensive.
let me be the first to say good job...this is so old school... the above lettering is really interesting (maybe a little too complicated). sometimes less is more.
this definitely works well in b&w...good use of simplicity and the lighter concept is always a classic.
the angle of the lighter is a little wierd...though it wouldn't be the same if the spindle wasn't showing as much.
