I had a whole big box of old men's magazines from the 50's and 60's. There were excellent for cheesy pictures of scantily clad women being tortured by evil-doers. Made for some great 80's punk rock flyers!

Thats an awesome story....the band Circle of Shit were almost as bizarre. They were known for starting "hate edge" sort of an anti-straight edge thing. When I first met the singer, Brubaker, he had a shirt covered in real blood. he said a person got hit by a car near his house and he wiped his shirt in it. We stayed at his house several times, it had razor wire and broken bottles embedded in the concrete courtyard walls. Very bad area of Philadelphia. Good band though, punk rock die-hards when everybody was going metal. He had a record store on South street for awhile.

Uhh...I've only lived in Akron for ten years and I don't know about Fusion records.....Annabells is in Highland Square, about 2 miles from downtown. I think Annabells has been named that for quite awhile.
