i don't disagree with anybody, really, but i'll point out that while it may not help the actual show it's specifically advertising for, the ol' "that-poster's-hangin-on-my-dorm-room-door-because-it-looks-cool" deal is excellent long-term advertising for the band.
...and outside of sneaking into a local college, it's probably the best place to get access to a decent light table at 2 in the AM. but that is neither here nor there.
jason, i agree. dirtier is better. i've posted a few of my actual files and i wish i'd scanned in the regular ol' piece of paper instead. but i don't have any access to screenprinting (hence the phaser 780 comment), so it'd probably just look crappy.
this is a nice poster. i'm sure roughing up the edges of them fonts makes it even better.
y'think so? that stuff has always weirded me out a bit. i mean, he's some guy, and he's got a band named after him that he probably doesn't like? stuff's weird, man. at least wait til the guy's dead like elvis and then it becomes more of a weird iconized thing.
well, i guess i think that's a bit weird too now that i think about it.
well, and the poster designer.
my coffee was horrible this morning.
