ripping off is a little harsh of a word, i mean, geez, 99% of the posters here probably rip off one idea or another. inspired, influenced - that's more what i was thinking.

just saw the line of Ride snowboards hess did some work on, pretty awesome.

Strokes Poster - Aerial Theater, Houston - Jermaine Rogers

another cool thing about this site, in that i'm newer here than most, stumbling across old discussions on posters. a person could read this stuff for hours, its insane. i haven't even started on most of the older forums. gigposters: the book.

exactly, i was wondering what the band played like also. this seems to be keiths style, in that his other posters carry the same look. the venue probably just says "go with it" and turns him loose. it would be a shame to box this guy up.

Ween Poster - The House of Blues, New Orleans - Allen Jaeger

i can't believe all the posters i'm seeing for the first time today, i spend so much time on this site, and think i've seen it all. course this is just one of the new ones, but its instantly one of my favorites. kinda looks like charles manson in the lower left, and suge knight with the gun. interesting.....

another classic. a friend of mine used to always draw weird shit like this, totally trying for all the details, regardless of the perspective. now he's like a cop or something. sad.
