printed I think 700 of these and hand tore them in half. The two make the set.

Boys and Girls in America is their new album title and the boys and girls...have such a sad time is one of the first lines on it. It's from a Kerouac line.

when I moved to Austin around '95 all emo's shows were free if you were 21 up. that lasted maybe 2 - 3 years then they went to $5. now it's $5 to $20

Melvins Poster - Tla, Philadelphia - The Heads Of State

you guys seen "Neither Here Nor There" The Melvins Book? The art is all over the map. Those guys appreciate a wide range of styles. A ton of their album art doesn't allude to the sounds that are actually on their recordings. The swan on the cover of Stoner Witch wouldn't let an uneducated listener know how heavy Revolve is.

Their reputation precedes them therefore you can get away with this kind of poster for them . It has everything and nothing to do with the Melvins. I think it's pretty clever and a little boring. But it works. At 20 x 26 I bet it works just fine.

I really got under dutchies skin talking about design rules...
