We were finishing a bottle of Knob Creek when this came together. Jason Austin did most of this one. What's weird is you can see the pic of Willie in the background on this jpeg way better than on the poster. Printed on chipboard.
I have this framed and on my wall right under Art's Flamimng Lips poster for Moe. One of my many favourites of Jeff's. It's very striking and Jeff you should submit a bigger jpeg. The typeography is awesome on it and you can't see it.
Modest Mouse does have an architectural aesthetic going on. We used a rendering of a grain elevator for one of ours and a series of squares for the other and they bought almost the entire run from us both times. They flipped when we walked in with them. They are HUGE poster fans.
This is actually the Corey Feldman. He's supposed to play here. What is it with movie stars that they think they can be rock stars? We just did a Billy Bob Thornton and I did one for Russel Crow's band. All suck as far as the music.
This is a really cool print. I love how the half tone drops out halfway down and the double image.
Damn. Blank space usage is sweet. Now it has a whole new meaning. It was pretty cool before but that thar's some mighty fine thinkin' We printed a Bottom poster on silver and a Masonic. It is amazing what paper can do to elevate a design to the next level.
