It's advertising a show. It's a gigposter. I always dig how Hess breaks the boundry with his image. I noticed it on a few last night the arm or leg always gets outside of the hard line. Type and layout doesn't suck on this one either. It prolly is cool in person.
Thanks everybody. This is a photo of my squeeze on the a-line in NYC last week. The magic of digital photography. instant "art" Thought it fit JSBX pretty well. Also cracked me up that it's a NYC photo for the Detroit Bar in LA. I know...I'm an idiot...
If you weren't chineese eyed all the time you could see through the slits better :-p
This is actually a tour poster for Tyson Meade of the Cainsaw Kittens. It's gonna be on a 20 x26 inch sheet so you'll be able to see all the writing. Based on a song of his called "postcard from heaven" He wrote the text on the left and it just says " It's been a long time since I saw you. I am coming through your town and would love to have a chat."
So there are three versions of this poster up here. this is what the "total" piece will look like.
Is the colour layer that will be printed on 80 lb cover white paper.
is the black "trap" layer that will be printed on clear acetate or velum and then it will be riveted tothe paper layer at the top and when it lays over the colour it will hopefully make this image here.
