This I think was the first poster I did with Jason. Either this or Cat Power. All his imagery and I picked the font and helped with the layout. On this first stuff Jason would print out the layout I did then go xerox it and cut it up again to get the final film. he still didn't trust doing it all on the computer. Took about five or so posters to show him same results come from both methods. Computer is just ten times faster... Sweet split fountain though. The other one that is "dull" looking is actually an 11x17 offset version of this one which is screen printed on chipboard.
my sweet old lady was real hapy I dumped a bottle of her fingernail polish out to make this. Painting text with a nail polish brush is bulshit I tell ya... no control...
another good colour combo. The rest of yours don't suck at all just need some attention to layout and font use. Not crazy about mixing photos with flat colours when the photo is grayscale and not spot. Still personal taste and I'm no expert take it all with a grain of salt...
