Sorry Fish. If you knew the band you'd know it fits. not lame at all.

Andy, Christian did the design and it's based on the whole content of their lyrics and their name. The Scissors and the "cut here" line represent cutting a relationship in half and how it leaves you sleeping alone on half a pillow/bed.

I was kind of reminded of this one:

http://www.gigposters.com/posters.php?poster=20866"

Yeah Christian did both our Shins posters and hadn't seen Dirk's until he watched him hang it in his booth next to ours at Flatstock. Then he had to stare at it for three days... I think they talked about it more than once or maybe it was Christian talking to himself about how it figured Dirk would make one so badass first.

it is but the flash completely washed it out when I adjusted the contrast to clean up the photo. The colours here are real close to the poster but to get that I lost the type. I'll send you a jpeg you can see a little better.

Sorry Denny. pretend I didnt' say anything.

Hey Tuffy the band stuff fills the whole area from the bird to the balloons and then down to the bottom of the two kids. You do have to be in front of the poster to see it though.
