just got the word.....this was never used. it was the only gigposter in my history that i had to run by band management first and...they vetoed it ( never told me tho ). so....this poster does not exist.
thanks stainboy* believe it or not i actually put a ton of thought into this one ( as appossed to my usual 4oz of thought). the portrait is haile selassie and the layout is based off a 60s ethiopian stamp. how's that for research. (...thank you google)
thanks guys* but i think my own 'issues' are showing thru....
i'm so sick of the 'generic reggea poster' that i keep trying to re-invent it ( no lion,no dreads and no marley.color me arrogant). unfortunately i think i'm alienated the fan-base. not a good thing.
thanks guys* i wasn't happy w/ the type but i'm stoked on the way the illustration came out. blame jason cooper for the inspiration. i was trying to think of something other than 'marley-head' when i stumbled over one of the 'amr' brochures so....
mr motorcycle* yea. i intentionally made 'ziggy' hard to read ( and originally all the text was going to be like that....wish i would of). it's a slam-dunk sell-out so i really had room to play ( but didn't.....sob).
