	there is nothing NOT to love about this poster. the concept, execution, illustration, color....blah blah blah.....perfection!!!! i think one of the things i dig most about it is the pose. i know it's based off an old candye barr photo but in the original she looks a little ridiculuse.....not any more!

	hampton* appologies if i made it seem like you spent 'too much time' on the research....just the opposite. i admire/envy/aspire to that to no end..... bottom line mate....if it works for you than...let it rock.

	thanks perkins*...but.... "yellowman" is a reggea legend. first for his political views and second because he is albino. very easy to pick out of a jamaican crowd. i just wanted to try something diffent. ...mabey it will work.

	great concept, great layout but.....if you have a 'strong' font ( ala soviet ) keep the rest of them 'boring' so they don't compete for the main focus. ps* pisser. i love the soviet font but....it has been beaten to death.....time to do it by hand.

	thanks perkins* i actually thought the 'yellowman font' worked great but.....mabey not. this one was 'semi-cheating' using a photoshop 'copier filter' befor converting to vector ( altho it took alot of back and forth adjusting levels before it looked decent). i'm still looking to find a real 'old-school copier' so i can do 'punk' the way the good lord had intended it.

	hampton* the font does fit 'her' but it doesn't fit the poster. you spent so much time researching the back story, getting the truck appropriately run-down, inking then...plop....so-so font typed straight ( no repositioning, kearning et al) with a medium-sized black stroke. not alot of time spent on it. plus it even gets a little muddled on the venue/date info. like i said before, it honestly looks like someone else slapped it in. what i think could have worked.... have 'neko case' as clouds in the light blue. there are only 8 letters in the name so it would be relatively easy to make them look like cloud wisps and still been legible. i don't think this would distract from the 'neko' image, just the opposite, i think it would nicely frame her and add emencely to the eerie vibe. as for the rest of the type (venue/date), something simple ( i'm currently hooked on headline). all caps, all black but space them out ( about a 200+ kearning) so that at a distance they don't form to black boxes. ...them's my thoughts. not trying to bust your balls but......i LOVE everything about this poster except.....
