	thanks guys* originally this was a ruff draft for a dvd cover about the greatest surf moments over the last 35 years ( therefor the obvious homage to rick griffin). the idea got shot down but.....the same production company is working on a documentary on the life and art of rick and have brought me on the project ( in what cappacity....dunno yet). i'm really excited to see how it progresses.

	nice spanky* one bitch tho. i think putting 'old glory' in the lettering was too much and doesn't flo with the rest of the design. the lower yellow type is distracting because of it. that being said......sweet! great concept and amazing execusion. ironically i'm currently working on designing afro-picks for dirty ghetto kids skateboards.

	damn you richard black!!!!!! i saw this show coming uo and thought " .....richard probably won't do a poster for this gig". obviously i suffer from serious delusions. great job on the girl man. i dig the copy but think you could have taken it further to look more like a vintage ad/packaging.
