i'm not positive but i think this image was used as an example in the 1950s senate hearings on " comic books as the main soarce of juvenile deliquency ". i seem to remember a photo of kefauver standing in front of it ( just before he comfiscated a shitload of betty page photos ).
thanks guys* i kno this is a contender for "least original idea" and the layout is pretty bland but...... i like it for the fact that the image is actually a collage of 3different faces. just a fun experiment.
menor66* da nada. also check out these books by leslie carbarga: 'designer's guide to color combinations' and 'designer's guide to global color combinations'. really helpful shit. what i like most about them is they give actual examples of the colors in use and breakdown the chapters in cohesive reference.
menor66* thanks man but..... i'm probably the last person that you want to follow in color. to be honest i really kno jack-shit about complex color combinations. i usually just start with one simple color then work around it with a complimentary color and then a few flat shades of both. kinda kindergarden style but.... it's worked so far.
