Yeah 80 lb linen. Thick. Some of the distressing got filled in on the print but it looks super just the same. I like it, too.

guy, this poster is obviously amazing, but i wonder why you chose to put the text on the top of the poster when the info's already at the bottom? it seems unnecessary and kind of competes with the illo.

actually, it doesn't compete with the illustration but rather gives it something to bounce off instead of a big blank bg blah or more sunset stripes. This fellow is rocking into the rising sun of his own glorious announcement. it's really the bottom text that redundant and only there because i guess you have to be able to read the artists for the poster to function totally by The Man's rules. If it was just the figure on top, you's see a figure on top and some text on the bottom and go 'another one of those' a figure and some text. I think it gives it real depth of space having the grounded figure and then the text hanging in the sunset.
Would anybody else like to venture a thought? No?

Proofed this today with the Doug Barker Studio staff. Looks great! Tan linen paper 16 x 23. Looks like I will only have about 50 or less. Thanks to the Barker Studios crew and management. Great job.
