this all started because you made a semi-compliment about my work. i pointed out that it was probably the first nice thing you ever said about me and my work and that you were'softening' on me.
ya know, you've been a dick to me. that's about it. your opinions have no weight in the face of the fact that you constantly slam me. so what, you don't like me, so what. your reasons for not liking me are almost immaterial. your just nasty to me all the time. it's sad.
tell you what, why do't you come over or call me or something and we'll talk some. you might begin to have a better idea about what i do and who i am. your 'criticism' of me was pretty uninformed about how i work and what i do, so i actually could fill you in. you'd also find out that i'm not such a bad guy, not a sourpuss, not arrogant (all that much), just a guy trying to make it like you.
so, quit being such a jerk to me and try being a human being.
as for telling you yer fulla shit, i have to repeat, go back and do the research. you are fulla shit when you say your an innocent when it comes to 'raking me' (it's a turn of phrase, there are no coals, honest). and as for the 'fuck off', you deserve it. i really think you should fuck off. find somebody else to slam for awhile. if no, then get in personal touch and we'll talk. i'm not such a bad guy. honest.
the computer sorta cut off the first half of my post. i started out by saying that since you put it that way, i get you point and can understand what your saying. but i also want to point out that i really don't think they're hurting for clients in general, just hipster poster clients maybe.
it also cut off the bottom half where i said that to think that they are suffering because of their association with pearl jam isn't seem correct, and that they are doing just fine.
at least i think that's what i wrote. i wonder why it cut off the first part and the last part?
i can sort of identify with their sitution because so many people have 'accused' me of creating 'grunge design' (i just happened to be in seattle when the exploitation took place. my creative work was exploited like the music or anything else was). so, when you 'accuse' them of shaping the pearl jam look, i disagree. i see a bunch of talented guys doing cool (put pointless) images that get the name 'peral jam' slapped on them as an excuse to make them in the first place. they would be just as good if they said 'sonic youth
