chuckles - at that point i was using paper straight from my copier and waxing them onto mylar overlays (registered). these went straight to the printer. now that all the printers tossed out their stat cameras and i have to supply film (and absorb the expense and technical rsponsibility) i run that 'copier film' through my machine and tile together my own "film" (i use the term loosely) . the result it that my newer work looks even shittier now that i have to prepare my own film (with no money). you should see how bad it looks. ask BLT. it'd make you laugh.
when i put together the original artwork, it looked too clean and tidy - not cheezy and fukt enough for crockshock. so, i took the entire mechanical and shrank it down on my photocopier, down to about 5" tall. each layer. then i enlarged and tiled everything back up. and that's what i printed here. that kinda off-registration can't be faked. it has to be real.
yeah, i hate the southern culture type, also. that's why i did it. sometimes you just need to ruin or erase your training to make things work.
