i love doing this stuff the way i do it. i love the way it looks, i live the way you can move things around, i love burnishing the pieces together. i love touching it up. i love cutting the overlays. i love making my own letterforms. so, i won't give it up just to make a bunch of geeky rock poster dudes stop insulting me. sorry, you're not all that important to me.
i've taken that challenge many times, and i have yet to find anybody that can duplicate my work on a coputer. they can APPROXIMATE it, but it's really not all that close. honest, it's not that easy. it just looks easy.
i don't understand why the idea that i do this with my hands instead of a computer freaks all of you out so much. so what? i like it my way. big deal.
i also doubt you could do this poster on a computer (without a stat camera) - especially in the three hours it took me to do it from ground zero. but then i've been doing this a long long time and i'm real fast. i'm sure there's certain things that you can beat me with on your computer. ok, so what?
also, you can't match the type. also brian is right i fucked up the film (by hand, yes i did the film by hand) without your help. i'd like to thank you for that, but it's all mine (it's the best part).
once again, i never made such a claim. please ridicule me with quotes i actually made, instead of ones you make up. usually you're much better at this and come up with really stupid things i actually said to ridicule me. but today, you've been real lazy about it.
by the way, this poster couldn't be duplicated with a computer. the type is too cutom and that printing flaw in the middle is strictly non-computer.
