and this is what walt crowley's work looked like when he worked alone. he was the designer/art director (back then just called the 'staff artist') of the great seattle underground hippie paper called the helix. he later went on to become a political pundit on tv (in a seattle tv version of the old 'point/counterpoint' format) and an author of local history.
