yeah. they were printed on the biggest offset press we could find on the west coast. they were about 6' tall.
they were for the "DIY" release of old punk. we shipped them to every major city in the western world and had them wheatpasted simultaneously on the SAME NIGHT. basically the joke was to have the whole of western civilization wake up and encounter a huge pic of sid with "no future" slapped on his dead face censoring his glassy eyeballs.
it pissed off a WHOLE lot of people. i thought it was pretty cool of rhino to go with that idea. i credit coco shinomiya for having the gonads to do it.
man, i had no idea that there were so many great poster folks working in portland back then. i knew that city was producing thousands of these posters, judging from the poles. but these are pretty impressive.
