so, yer sayin' that if somebody were to make a poster for yes, they are supposed to make it look like roger dean's or hipgnosis's work from 35+ years ago? sorta retro thinking, ain't it?
besides, i think this poster is great for a band like yes, who really hasn't done anything except lean on their logo and a few hits from 35 years ago. playing off the name is all they've been doing for years. it may be more conceptually perfect than you guessed.
and that isn't necessarily letting what i think of the band getting in the way of the message. it's just a reality check.
