"Artist" section, under "General Discussion"

We have a top level section for Bands, and for Posters, but not for the Artists / Designers themselves. When I post a thread about an artist I generally do so in the "Anything Goes" section. It probably gets more initial exposure there, but it also gets buried fast.

I also realize that possibly a good quarter of the artists who may end up with a thread in their name are at least part-time participants here. It may be a bit navel-gazing if people are posting self-promotional threads about themselves, but if artists post to their own thread it could also be cool to get info direct from the horse's mouth. Pros and Cons.

It's an idea. Curious what other people think.

It also occurred to me that this seems so obvious, there may be a good reason it was decided against. No, I did not search the suggestion section to see if it had suggested it before.

That's what email is for. Person-to-person stuff...ya know? You want info from the horse's mouth? (nice way to put it) Ask them direct. Not every artist wants to have a public discussion. duh.

I would like to have an Illustrators section separate from the Designers section. I just don't like looking over my shoulder all the time.
