Hey everyone,
I am new to the site, but I would like to see some technical details for the posters I am looking at. A simple drop down with a few choices like "Digital", "Screenprint", "Xerox", "Handmade", and "letterpress" or something like that with some popular methods. I'd like to be able to tell if a poster was screenprinted, or offset at some copy shop, ya know? A way to post details like that, including maybe number of color passes for us screenprinters or letterpress people would be nice too.

We're supposed to use the Comments for details, etc... of course, those discussions usually end up talking about bacon. We're not that disciplined a bunch.

Many folks provide those details on the their own sites.

yeah, that all makes sense. I guess you can usually tell when something is silkscreen... but I do letterpress and so far haven't seen anyone else who does. I'd like to see that, or search for that, if it was possible.

tell you what man, punch up any of my old dingleberries and I'll happily go into insane amounts of detail, because anything is better than finishing this deadline for Schwager.

six color silkscreen. 17.5 x 21 " 110 lb White Ardor Index stock. edition of about 450. printed on a cameo 38 in austin texas.
took a small publicity photo of Lydia, cropped it, enlarged it on a stat camera using a mezzotint (85 line) polarizer...lettering done on an IBM 386 then printed out on my fax machine. mechanical paste-up. shot a film positive up to 100% and then cut thr 5 seps with a #11 exacto out of amberlith, not ruby lith.
did the design cause she had a killer sexy mouth...a blowjob mouth. she liked the poster. I have nopne left for sale. I often see them on ebay going for 25-50 dollars or so.
