maybe a forum where people can get real crit on something they submit... they are so many good artists on here there should be more of a chance to elevate ones artwork if they want... i think people would take advantage of this...

Wait, what are we talking about?
Those replies are awesome. They are both off subject and at the same time the most eloquent answer to the suggestion. They are a little skit demonstrating why the idea wouldn't work. Brilliant!
I do find the last post is a little disconcerting the way it flirts alliteration but never fully embraces a particular letter.

Nail on the head. Unfortunately, this is the nature of GP (and indeed the internet) sometimes.Originally Posted by JohnHoward

I imagine sometimes that the GP forums are like a radio show - I would say the Howard Stern show but I've never heard it, but something along those lines. We try to get some kind of actual content or discussion together but everyone is trying so hard to throw in their 'hillarious' one-liners, or burp, or fart, or spout non sequiters, or 'be weird in the studio', so the result ends up being off topic gibberish.
Strangely, when I think of it in this manner it isn't nearly so annoying and actually starts to become endearing.![]()
