hey,
just a sudden, crazy idea, not so frivolous as it sounds....like a gallery for bands for instance to peruse & if they find something they really dig, to be able to contact the artist...?
does that make any sense?
great avenue for creative overflow, as well as a showcase for new/ish poster artists...i'm sure it'd fill up fast...
isnt' that what this site is? Bands or whoever can look around and see people they like and most people have an email or web address to contact them through. If someone doesn't have that, they can post a profile and put their other contact info there...

i hope he's not saying have images posted that a band can just choose from...that's what i was getting from the post.

I mean you can't just recycle like that can you? imagine using an image for say veruca salt it couldn't possibly work for say the Chili Peppers right?
Hmmmm... we've used a piece of art for another band when the job didn't fly for the first one. It worked just fine.

In fact, it really is just like having a clip art collection... we have art, it gets used when the right band job comes along.
So PM do you mean to say you have a back stock of illustrations and plug them in for whatever poster comes along? I thought you guys commissioned stuff.
Still tho...I look at Vibraniums portfolio of poster work...and Drowning Creeks...

Im all for opinions folks....just dont make so many concrete, 'it is so' type statements. It really isnt a good positioning point in idea-discussion...plus it makes you sound like a jerk...and you may not even be one!
NOTHING is concrete about ANYTHING Rock and Roll related...except the fact that its ALWAYS changing.
