GP news/link feed

There are TONS of forum topics that are just links to news/wierd stories/politics/etc... stuff that really has nothing to do with Gig Posters..

I would say that 40% of the new forum topics that apear on the index page, I click on it and its just a link to something the author is interested in.. often misleading by the thread title.. If I see another link to some American Politics article I'm going to cry..

I guess my "suggestion" would be to put some sort of news/link feed on the site simular to newstoday.com, so that the forums don't have to be over saturated with this stuff..

I'm probably the only one who cares about this, and really I don't expect this to happen or anything to change.. just a thought.
