Question for all GP designers - Traffic Bucket

Hey Everyone,

I had an idea .. and I'd like to see what everyone thinks.

Gigposters.com is a pretty busy site .. but we can always use more people here .. viewing your art, buying your art and hiring you for projects .. right?

I think everyone here benefits from more people visiting the site.

I have been doing a little research into advertising prices around the net .. to promote Gigposters.com .. to make it busier .. to let the world see what we have here.

I would like to try a certain advertising program that I have found... but I don't really have the cash at the moment to make it happen.

(thanks to donations and some money of my own, we now have a new server).

I was thinking of adding a "Traffic Bucket". Basically .. a paypal donation thing .. where people can drop some spare change in whenever they like.

Once the bucket hits $30 .. I can guarantee 50,000 new people will visit the site within 21 days. Not too shabby. If we can do this on an ongoing basis ... it should be beneficial to everyone.

I'd just like to hear your thoughts .. good or bad. Its just an idea .. so feel free to cut it down.
