Default My Panda Print - Process

So I love checking out everyones process pics so I thought I'd hop in and do one. This is for my Panda print I just recently finished, but have been working on for sometime now. These were screenprinted and then hand inked to make each one unique. Hand inking these proved to be a lot more time consuming than I had anticipated. Anyways I hope you dig...

    My original sketch...

i hand painted the films for the white layer. The only use of a computer for these was scanning in my original sketch and blowing it up to full size.

    laying down the white.

    ready to be inked.

    inking extravaganza!

    ahhh...

so thats it yo. i have few extra pics on my site if you care to check. it was pretty fun to do and probably will do another one sometime soon.

So you hand painted each one instead of printing the black?

lot of extra work for you but i like the personalization of each one. i like the expression on the original and finished one equally.
