    Default FS 22 Promo Posters

To those of you that are creating FS 22 posters post them here. The info is below about the requirements and info to include. All participating artists making an FS poster must supply me with copies or poster in the Seattle area themselves. Otherwise, I will ask you to remove the prints from your booth and sales of the poster will be prohibited.

    Sending Flatstock 22 Promotional Poster

Artists wishing to sell their own Flatstock 22 posters during or after the exhibition must send 15 of these posters to Laura Stalions, (address given in "FS 22 Fact Sheet"), to arrive no later than August 15, 2009. One each of these posters will be preserved in both the API and Bumbershoot archives. The remaining posters will be used to promote Flatstock 22. Even if an artist prefers to distribute such posters on his or her own to promote Flatstock 22, two archive posters must still be provided to the API.

Posters must include the following info:

    Flatstock 22 Poster Exhibiton
presented by American Poster Institute and Bumbershoot
    Fisher Pavilion-Seattle Center
    11am to 8pm, September 5, 6 and 7th
    Labor Day weekend

    americanposterinstitute.com
    bumbershoot.org

If you donít have enough time to design and screen print an FS poster but would like to help promote please email a b & w flier design to: lstalions@americanposterinstitute.com. Anything helps!

Yeah, it was agreed on during the API member meeting last year in Seattle. Every year I was getting only about 5% of the FS posters that were printed and my volunteers and I could have used a lot more.

Just like with any other band or event a poster isn't official unless you give X amount of copies for promotion. Flatstocks should be no different and I can't begin to explain how pissed I get about seeing artist create those posters to make an extra buck but don't want to do anything that helps everyone participating. Sending me 15 can't be that damn difficult. If it is, don't go to the trouble of printing any.

I'm like 15% in fear of you and 85% in love with you. Or vice-versa.

Hmmmm, that's probably not the most kosher thing but the API sponsors the Squeegeeville booth so...

Bobby's been on my list for a number of years.
