Default Altercation Punk Comedy Tour 2009 - Artists Wanted!

The Altercation Punk Comedy Tour is hitting the road for a huge national club outing this fall (including some big time punk festivals), and we are putting out the word for artists to design some rad silkscreened posters for the various shows.

Ideally, we are hoping to have over 20 artists involved. This is a serious opportunity for national press and huge crowd exposure.

Interested? Reply to this with a link to some of your work for more info. Serious inquiries only please. Send a message to editor@altercation.net and you can check out the tour at myspace.com/standuppunk or myspace.com/altercationmagazine

    Thanks!

Nice to see that things haven't changed since I've been away.

See, things have changed. You need to fill out a request and include a $5 processing fee.

Just out of morbid curiosity I did some quick math to figure out how much work I would actually be giving away if I were to particpate in this thing.

I'd have to sell $350+ to recoup 40% of a run (based on printing charges, set-up, and design for a 3-color edition of 100)

How, exactly, will my poster receive national press coverage and huge crowd exposure?

are you a killer artist, graphic or otherwise? Do you like making NO money, but keeping 60% of the print run? If so, we want to talk to YOU!
