Default favorite places to order paper?

where do most of you buy your paper for screen printing on? i'm looking for good quality and reasonably priced paper for posters but am not sure where is best to look.

"ok paper", it stands for "Olmstead Kirk".

"French Paper Company" is good too.

I used to order from French but it was expensive, non-expeditious and very, very far from archival.

Now I order from Kelly Paper. They are cheap and I can order by 4:48 PM and have my paper ready cut and ready for pick-up at 9:15 AM the next day (Unless I'm special ordering some crazy color paper).

I have recently switched from the Classic line of paper to Strathmore Wove for whites/naturals/ivorys. I still use classic linen for colors but will probably start experimenting with some Neenah vellums when I get back in October.

Hey Clint, Bosworth Paper locally has been very good to me, especially for colored stock.

I like French. I think they're in Michigan, so being in the Chicago area, my orders are delivered quickly.

I second Kelly Paper. They RULE.

Example: Today (Saturday) I ordered 200 sheets of some fairly esoteric paper, cut down to 18 x 24 from parent sheets. It will be there Monday morning.

    Awesome.

oh good thread, i was going to ask this same thing. i am currently swinging between French and Neenah. i'm not exactly at the level of needing to worry about archival quality at this point, so i can't vouch for either in that area. french has really awesome tones/colors/mixtures. i recommend Neenah if you're new to screen printing or trying to learn, because they'll send up to 40 sheets of 12x19 for free, as samples. i'm also in love with the chipboard they use to protect the paper from bending. it looks hott as fuck when you print on it. i wish i could just order a stack of it from them

to you dudes that go to kelly: what do you do when you want paper that's not white or some neutral tone? i do like kelly a lot, but if i need something colorful or interesting, i find myself needing to order from french.
