After 18 years we are moving the studio. I'll post pics over the next 2 months.
Right now, all our boxed crap is going into the new shop space (pics below), which is in the basement of the new house. Once we get into the upstairs, I can figure out how the studio is going to be laid out.
the entrance around the side. double doors are nice to get the big gear in, and we can get a truck around
room #1 this will be the printing area
old kitchen room #2 this will be the exposure area, we will probably put the washout outside under the overhang. Not sure what i will do about solar.
the framing studio goes in here, but i may move the back wall in a bit to gain more room for the screenmaking area. this is on the other side of the 'kitchen' area wall.
it's all finished in 'rustic 1950's cabin', lots of shelves. going to get rid of my big press and exposure unit and drop the size slightly to 24x36 max spring lift Jaguar, with a few smaller hand tables.
My back is already aching. I'm thinking the first print might be the 2009 GP calendars.
