Default I need some help with photoshop

Basically - I need some help with making a full-color image changed to a certain color (hue? - I don't even know if thats the right word)

I know it can be done, because I've seen it done before - like taking a full color photo, and making it all green or something.

If anyone has a moment to help me out, just let me know. I have the image, and know the color I need it - I just have no idea how.

    Thanks,

    -Clay

    open photoshop
    change mode to grayscale
then change mode again to duotone, tritone or quadtone and fool around until u get something you like, then convert back into rgb or cmyk or whatever.

Sorry, but I'd still be clueless on a mac. I'm not a designer/artist at all.

If it was in photoshop- Ctrl-U, check colorize, adjust hue/saturation/lightness
