Math wise it seems possible, but I'm printing out the seps and those dots be TINY! Anyone have any luck with hi-res process printing by hand?
65 seems the maximum - you'd need some strong vacuum table-fu. You also venture into serious moire problems as well.

i have always done 55 lpi. but my reds always come out heavy. maybe my pressure.
Screen printing at higher than 55lpi is retarded unless you expect the person viewing the print to be looking at it from a distance of 6 inches away. Application and use are the most overlooked factors in line screen selection.
actaully there are alot of shops running UV at 133lpi and it looks damn good.
should be said that they are running this on presses that cost well over 300k maybe as much as a million for a 5 or 6 color inline press.
we use UV all day long.
at some point we will start trying to do halftones way higher than 55lpi
