    Default Power Washer choice

So...because we are now on a tight budget (putting it mildly) we've been trying to get along reclaiming screens with a garden hose and sprayer. I know, I know...lame. And now we have a few screens with bits of old emulsion stuck around on them. So I was shopping for a power washer and wanted to know if anyone had an opinion about this one:

    Karcher K2.93M - 1400 PSI Hand-Carry Electric Pressure Washer

    Electric German-engineered Induction motor
    1400 PSI
    1.3 GPM
What is to give light must endure burning.

I have a Karcher and it's awesome. That variable-spray head is great... I actually use it for washout. Then stick the other attachment on there and presto! Reclaim!

But I have a bigger one. I like the bigger one. It's... bigger.

I have that one and it works great...although the first one I bought, at WalMart, stopped working so I just took it back and exchanged it for a new one.

Used a karcher at Perverto's amd it worked fine, don't know the model, wasn't that big. I think whereever you buy it, keep the receipt and trade in as long as the warranty is good.
always go for the highest power (PSI) you can afford I think mine goes to 1800, although it is finally dying after 5-6 years. (It's a simonize) Trigger sticks, it leaks, bits of black plastic come out....

Wait, Andy... are you still talking about your power washer?

If you buy a cheap one, order another wand at the same time. They last about a year, or less.

Or, pay a bit more for one with a better wand and it'll last 5-6 years no problem.

after i blew through i Karcher after only a week of use and only doing about 10-12 screens a day with it i got one of these

NorthStar Electric Cold Water Pressure Washer 2000 PSI, 1.5 GPM, 120 Volt | Electric/Cold Water | Northern Tool + Equipment

probably a little more expensive than most home shops want but works absolutely great.
