Default Artist Website Back-end - Like AI

    Hey All,

I am currently building a website to showcase my work, but i haven't been able to find a portfolio script that can manage the work / make it easy to update and tie in to a design. Clay used to have a script i think called Art Invasion, but that has been shut down. Some things that i think are important to be part of all of it.

    • ability to upload an image and have a thumbnail generated
    • ability to have more than one picture for each design
    • easily integrated in to design
    • possibility for shop integration

The store integration isnt super important, i can always use big cartel.

The Decoder Ring looks like they have a backend. Is it custom?

Any help is appreciated, even if its just making fun of the fact that "back-end" is part of the title.

    Hey!

You have allot of options but you need to know some code.

    1. Wordpress--You could do all this building your own custom theme in WP and it wouldn't even be that hard. I'm doing a website for Crosshair right now using a custom WP theme--but you need to know your PHP and how it's utilized by WPs template tags.

    2. Expression Engine, Movable Type, etc. Lots of cool frameworks exists but the good ones cost money.

P.s.--Viewbook is cool, but Dripbook is even better! And you can export an entire site!
