    Default creating a gif (help)

If im making a gif in photoshop, and i want to keep the bottom, locked layer, from animating how do i do that?

Another way to say it: I import to imageready and select the Make frames from layers but I want the bottom frame to never turn off and on.

    Thanks!

Make sure that layer is turned on in that frame. It's pretty straightforward.

Open your 'Animation' palette, select the frame, then choose which layers should be visible in the frame. To make new frames, click the flyout, then select 'New Frame'

i switch to imageready with all the layers on and then i go to make animation from layers, so it does that, but it animates all layers andi want the bottom one to not turn on and off.
