    Default UK poster folk, attention

I may have an all day gig to organize around August involving mostly Uk based stoner/doom/psychedelic type music. I was thinking about the idea of running a poster show at the same time to add something extra. It's all very loose at the moment but it would be in London in August. I'm going to try and get some great bands to headline and hopefully go for a mega lightshow as well.

Just let me know if there would be interest in displaying and selling some posters throughout the day. Thanks, Jack

Your band would actually fit in a treat, I like. I'd have to be careful not to clash this with the poster roast as I'd like people to end up at both in equal numbers, more exposure the better!

Then we shall play, if you would have us. There is a good chance we may have some new riffs by then.

The Fang don't play no riffs, The Fang plays the grooves.

Ok some bands I would suggest:

Stoner is obviously a loose and often odd genre so I guess what I'm meaning is hard rock bands in the traditional sense and then doom and the various other subgenres like psych, sludge etc

    Check out:

    Josiah (power trio) MySpace.com - JOSIAH - Leicester, UK - Rock / Rock / Rock - www.myspace.com/josiahukrockers

Suns of Thunder (welsh, lots of groove) MySpace.com - Suns of Thunder - Swansea, UK - Rock / Blues / Progressive - www.myspace.com/sunsofthunder

Grifter (another trio, good time groove) MySpace.com - Grifter - Plymouth, UK - Rock / Metal / Classic Rock - www.myspace.com/grifterrock

Aluna (brummy doomy stuff with female vocals)
    MySpace.com - aluna - Birmingham / Stourbridge / Brownhills, UK - Psychedelic / Metal / Southern Rock - www.myspace.com/alunatheband

    Pombagira (psychedelic doom type stuff)

    Olde Chrone MySpace

Gentlemans Pistols (great straight up rock)

    Winters

Invasion (girl drummer, girl singer, one guitar, like stoner thrash)
    MySpace.com - INVASION - London Town, UK - Psychedelic / Thrash - www.myspace.com/invasion

Diagonal (crazy jazz proggy stuff, just signed to Rise Above)

Stubb (my band ha why not, 3 piece heavy fuzzy rock) MySpace.com - Stubb - UK - Rock / Psychedelic - www.myspace.com/stubbband

Litmus (pure space rock ala Hawkwind)

theres a few to go on
