I just got it as well.

Looks a little fishy to me.

I wonder if Peveto can shed some light on this? Or - someone can contact SXSW to find out if its legit.

the imeem offices are right around the corner from me. I've met a handful of employees at various shows, festivals and galleries around town and they seem genuinely interested in poster art.

Having not received said email, I cannot comment beyond that.

I just got the email. Seems on the level to me. As I've reiterated in other threads, I don't know how one quantifies the value of free exposure to "millions" of people but it should take you all of 15 minutes to do.

I will be doing this later, if that influences your decision at all.

It looks to me like they want some free content. In return you get eyeballs on your work. Although if people don't know who did the art it may not matter that they see it. Can you watermark your uploads?

Whatever you do, I do. As long as you do it first. Not only do I bite your style, I bite your sign-ups.

    I feel left out.
Not that I want spam, mind you.
