    Default Oil your wood?

I know many of you oil your wood nightly, but anyone here oil their wooden squeegee handles prior to use? I have a 2 day old squeegee already cracked and warped from washing it off. Hmph. And if so, do you use straight up mineral oil of something else?

    buy better squeegees.
I'd guess a few coats of polyurethane would work

Sounds like you got a really old blade that happens when the rubber is several years old. We never oil our squeegees, but we have replacable blades that we sharpen often.

Oh the wooood cracked. Our wooden handles get so covered in ink that it doesn't really matter for us.
