    Default fast postives

i've just bought a packet of fast postives and, on the print side of the film, i've noticed that ist's "grainy" kind of like ther's small sand particles on the film.

my last purchase of fast positives was about 3 years ago and the print side was perfectly smooth.

can someone tell me if this is normal now?
and why did they change it to a lesser quality film. ?

I think it's so the printer rollers can pick it up more accurately, the slick stuff was slipping in printers and making registration a real bitch. Atleast that's what I think.

I have Posjet, the coating allows the ink to stick.

if you print on thr wrond side, your ink just beads up and looks like ass.

It's normal. That coating gets really sticky if it gets wet at all. Even if it's just damp.
    That's how the ink grabs.
