Speedball poster ink vs. Sericol Permaset textile ink
I found an Australian distributor for Speedball ink, not too badly priced (~$16 for 8oz + shipping ), but the thing is, I've got a bunch of (almost new) Permaset textile ink that I've been using on paper stock for screenprinting posters. I've only printed two runs of posters (about 20 of each poster), a run of zine covers (100+) and some wedding invites, but there will be more print jobs coming up, posters, more zine covers, etc.
What I want to know, are the Speedball inks going to be more opaque than the Sericol permaset inks? Both are waterbased. The opacity of the Permaset isn't amazing, but it works ok. Should I worry about buying the Speedball stuff yet, or just keep using the Permaset stuff?
