    Default Monthly Live Assignment

    This is for new or aspiring poster artists with one page (9) or less posters. Please thank John Warner for this as he set it up.

    Winner gets $50

    We need a shell for a monthly calendar for Ruta Maya in Austin Texas for shows booked by Austin Daze.

    We need to be able to fill in the dates for upcomming shows in the future, basically 12x18 will be the size will be with a graphic around the edge and a blank spot in the middle to put the show info, i'm guessing about 2.5 inches around the edge on all sides something like this;

    http://www.gigposters.com/posters.php?poster=55704

    the shell needs to be 12x18, graphics around the edge, spot in the the middle for all this info below and can be full color, (digital prints)

    12x18 - budget low, digital prints

    these elements need to be present

    Austin Daze presents live at Ruta Maya

    I'd rather cut my feet off and eat them then do anything for Ruta Maya. Cool that John hooked this up but, that place is the worst. Ever.

    Long story. The short of it was that they over reacted to a piece of art and had it removed from a show. Total bullshit. That place smells a bit like patchouli oil.

    Myabe it is a great place. I only have one impression of it and it isn't good.

    the person that freaked over the art is no longer there, the place is run by normal people now. mike why be so negative? this is a paying gig. It just seems really lame to put a negative spin on the place before anyone really has a chance to design anything. I go there a couple times a week, I always have a good time and people in there are really nice, in fact i was in there last night and saw this really bitching x-mas soul show. really mazn just because you personally do not like the place doesn't mean it sucks, your problem is with a single person, not the venue. remember venue staff come and go.

    Gilbert's piece. Did they take down Jonse's piece as well? The Goofy?
