    Default Flying to Austin?

Just a reminder to ya'll that it's a good idea to buy plane tickets for SXSW in advance. If you wait, you'll pay more for your flights.

I bought tickets last night, and check this out. I saved $112 by buying 2 one way tickets instead of buying round trip tickets. I did the same thing last year and it worked out nicely.

The reason the round trip was more expensive, so I've found, is that once you pick an Airline for your outgoing flight, you have to stick with that carrier on your return. If you do one way flights you can shop for the cheapest and most convenient return flight between all of the carriers.

The other thing is simply that the round trip flights are more expensive. I checked prices for the same outgoing flight number and the price was $267 for a round trip ticket and $183 for a one way. Cha ching.

    So, like, heads up people.

Anyone that might be interested in going from the UK £600 round trip looks around your average price if you're booking now. Think I’m going skip this one and save some monies for next years flatstock europe wherever it might be.
