how many pixels are in an 1/8 of an inch?
i have a weird shape in .psd, i need to add a 1/8" border around it.
is this a trick question?
take your dpi and divide it by 8?
am i misunderstanding the question?
what is your DPI? If it is 72 DPI (dots per inch) the 1/8 of and inch contains 9 pixels.

im working in 300dpi.
i need a 1/8"inch stroke.
so that should be 33.
no, im way wrong.
im dividing by 8 right?
hmm, I believe a 1/4" line is 75 pixels, so therefore an 1/8" should be 1/2 of that at 37.5 pixels. I got C's in math though.
