    Default Laser Cut Low Poster

    http://www.gigposters.com/posters.php?poster=41950#

alright, i'm really happy with my latest poster and i just wanted to share some details about it, explain the process, and step into the spotlight for like two seconds.

this poster is black speedball ink on 80lb. 18x24 french blacktop. everything that looks white in the picture is laser cut from the paper. i had the opportunity to use two uber expensive laser cutters that are usually used to cut ornamental and decorative pieces that old ladies like to buy. i used it to cut 45 posters instead. based on the detail of the design, each poster took 24 minutes to cut. Needless to say, i spent my whole weekend on this project.

anyway, here are some close-up pics. thanks for checking this out.
